Craft
Ten trades from blacksmith to bath-house keeper, 45 goods and a market whose prices follow supply and demand.
Craft · Courtship · Cunning
It is the year 1400. You are an 18-year-old nobody with a hammer, an idea and remarkably little gold. Turn that into a dynasty the town chronicle will still rave about in a hundred years. Or at least one that doesn’t end up in the pillory.
The Game
It’s built in a month.
Dynostify is an economy and dynasty simulation in a lovingly cute world around 1400. Every town is generated anew, every citizen follows a daily routine, every family has its own plans – and most of them concern you. Run your workshop, start a family, gather prestige and offices, and make sure your name outlasts the generations. With honest work. Mostly.
Ten trades from blacksmith to bath-house keeper, 45 goods and a market whose prices follow supply and demand.
Court, marry, raise children and settle your inheritance. A family makes economic sense. Supposedly romantic sense, too.
Campaigns, alliances, rumours and court days: at the town hall you pay with votes – and occasionally with sausages.
What awaits you

You start with a small workshop and big plans. Choose goods for every workstation, buy raw materials, hire journeymen and expand – from workshop to master’s business to manufactory. Orders come from real citizens who remember you. For better or worse.

Prices rise when goods are scarce and fall when the market overflows. Caravans carry your wares to Nuremberg, Bruges, Lübeck and Venice – for twice the price, if the robbers are asleep. Buy cheap and sell dear and they call you a merchant. Do it the other way round and they’ll soon call you a beggar.

Marry wisely, raise children and build a home with rooms for the whole clan. The head of the family ages, the heirs learn, the family tree grows – and the hall of fame shows who really has a say in town.

If you want an office, you need votes. Give speeches on the platform, win the electors over with arguments – or with gifts – pass laws and keep an eye on court day. And remember: whoever contradicts the king gets plenty of time to think things over. In the dungeon.

Eight dynasties vie for influence – with real purses and real intentions. Forge alliances, grant favours, spread rumours or hire scoundrels. But pay them well. Otherwise they’ll chat with the judge.

Every game starts with a new town: river, wall, market, lanes, gardens and orchards – rolled from a seed and named by you. Hundreds of citizens live there. They work, shop, gossip, celebrate in the tavern and head home when the windows start to glow in the evening.

Play alone against the AI houses or with up to three friends via Steam or your local network. Everyone runs their own workshop and dynasty – ally, supply each other, or snatch the mayor’s office from right under each other’s noses.
The World
Vegetable beds and beehives behind the houses, storks on the chimneys, flower boxes under the windows, signposts at every corner – and no two houses alike. Every quarter has its colours, every guild its sign, every smithy its smoking shed.

The Intro
This is how Dynostify greets you: the camera flies over the town while the crest builds itself piece by piece – shield, fleur-de-lis, parchment and every single letter. Fully 3D, rendered in the game.

Town gossip
In the year 1387 the council of Crookbrook declared all chickens citizens. Tax revenue doubled; council meetings got louder.
In 1391 a cloth merchant lost a bet against a donkey. The donkey became guild master and ruled wisely.
In 1392 a candidate bribed the electors with sausages. The butcher was elected.
In 1394 an alchemist tried to turn lead into gold. He succeeded in turning gold into debt.
In 1395 a farmer sued the weather. The case is pending; the defendant never showed up.
In 1396 the watch accidentally locked up its own captain. The town was never safer.
In 1397 a baker’s son married the mayor’s daughter. Ever since, there has been cake at council.
In 1398 a merchant sold the town wall to three different buyers. Two of them still live on it.
In 1385 a count had his castle painted pink. It was never besieged again – out of pity.
Chickens cross the road for reasons science won’t understand for another 600 years.
The innkeeper hears everything. The innkeeper forgets nothing. The innkeeper sells both.

The economy is meant seriously, everything else not so much: Dynostify is stylised, cute and full of humour. The plague is not a business model. Mostly.
